Medical Massage Therapy for Sciatica Relief

LEGSGLUTESHIPSLOWER BACK
Medical Massage Therapy for Sciatica Relief is not necessarily right for everyone.

For someone suffering from what they think is sciatica, I may suggest they see a doctor since sciatic nerve pain can occur for many reasons.

Often times it turns out not to be sciatica at all.

After a client has been cleared for massage therapy, I generally look for pelvic imbalances.

Then I assess the sacrum and gluteal muscles.

I experience sciatic nerve pain myself due to piriformis syndrome (tightness, swelling, of one of the the deep, lateral rotators in the gluteals causing the nerve impingement) and have no choice but to be proactive in my own well being.

Simply stated, I would be in trouble without self applications of the muscular energy techniques I offer at my facility.

Sciatic nerve pain is treated with Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Myoskeletal Alignment Technique, and/or Muscular Energy Techniques.

"Don't waste your money looking for a better massage! I have had massages from Hawaii to London and Toronto to Costa Rica and Joe is absolutely the best if you are looking for real pain relief. He knows anatomy and movement and his willingness to educate me on the details of every one of my problem areas and how to take care of myself to reduce pain recurrence is the kind of stuff you usually only get from physical therapists! I genuinely can't say enough good about this practice if you really need help and can appreciate quality stretching  and muscle work, it is your loss if you don't at least give him a try."
