Potent Grape Seed Extract

Trans-resveratrols from grape skin are the ingredients in the product I sell.

You may have heard about the benefits of red wine because of the resveratrols in it and the grape seed products you find in stores boast about their resveratrol content, which is derived from a Japanese herb called “knot weed.” There is an astronomical difference between those resveratrols and trans-resveratrols. I sell grape seed extract which contains the trans-resveratrols of grape skin and is known by many as the most potent anti-oxidant available today. In general, the faster a wound heals, the less chance there is for infection. Clinical research finds that combining grape seed extract with a proprietary trans-resveratrol formula---trademarked Protykin---significantly speeds the healing if skin wounds.  Work by researchers at the Ohio State University Medical Center and Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions, shows that this formula can increase the level of hydrogen peroxide at the wound site, enhancing the formation of a growth factor critical in the formation of new blood vessels.

Not just for weekend athletes, this finding could have “significant implications for people recovering from surgery or for those with---diabetes, which impairs the ability of the body to heal its wounds,” according to one of the study’s authors.
